  • Imran leads the corporate restructuring and insolvency practice group in Eldan Law LLP and is one of the youngest to do so in Singapore. He advises and represents insolvency professionals, creditors, and debtors in local and cross-border restructurings and insolvencies. These include both contentious and non-contentious restructurings and liquidations.

    He also specialises in commercial litigation and international arbitration. He has advised and successfully represented multinational corporations, public-listed companies, and high net-worth individuals in complex, high-value disputes heard at all levels of the Singapore Courts and in arbitrations under the ICC and SIAC rules.

    Imran was named one of the top 40 under 40 lawyers in Asia for 2023 by LexisNexis and a ‘Rising Star’ in Singapore by the Asian Legal Business.

    He was also awarded the Public Service Medal in 2023 by President Tharman Shanmugaratnam for his contributions to the community.

Fathiah Najwa Khan

  • Fathiah specialises in financial crime and investigations. In particular, she has a deep expertise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Countering Financing of Terrorism (CFT) and bribery & corruption. Fathiah is certified in CAMS, CIPP/E and CIPP/A and was seconded in Malaysia and Hong Kong in 2019 and 2021.

    In her work, Fathiah has led teams to conduct comprehensive impact assessments, trained compliance teams on applicable laws and regulations and has crafted & refined policies & procedures and data privacy communications for various regulatory shifts and initiatives, in AML/CFT, bribery & corruption, GDPR, and FATCA.

    Outside of her day job, Fathiah is also passionate about volunteering. She has organised events for the community, with a particular focus on educating the community about the law. She was awarded the District Achievement Award from the government of Singapore for her contribution to the community and country.

Matin Razak

  • Matin graduated from SUSS Law in 2022, and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2023. He is currently in the Litigation and Arbitration team in the Dispute Resolution division at Withers KhattarWong LLP. Matin’s main areas of practice include White Collar Defence & Investigations, Commercial Litigation and International Arbitration.

    In his little free time, Matin likes to read and write.

Syafiqah Ahmad Fuád

  • Syafiqah is a compassionate and highly motivated legal professional, with a strong background in family law, specializing in Muslim divorces. She is experienced in resolving civil and matrimonial disputes, whether through litigation or alternative dispute resolution.

    As a family law practitioner, she is committed in helping her clients navigate the complexities of divorce proceedings, maintenance issues, and personal protection order applications. She believes in providing empathetic support to her clients during what can be emotionally challenging times, and strives to create a supportive environment where her clients feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout the legal process. Syafiqah is dedicated to advocating for her clients’ rights and interests while offering them the guidance and support they need to make informed decisions about their legal matters. Her detail-oriented approach allows her to meticulously analyse their cases and develop effective strategies tailored to each client's specific situation.

    In addition to her legal practice, Syafiqah is actively involved in giving back to the community. She is member of PEGUAM, where she contributes her time and expertise to pro bono initiatives and community outreach programs. She is also a member of the Muslim Law Practice Committee of the Law Society of Singapore, which addresses and provide guidance on matters relating to Muslim law practice, which includes providing feedback on the legislative and practice changes affecting the administration of Muslim law in Singapore. Syafiqah also volunteers for the Legal Aid Bureau and have completed numerous LAB cases with positive results.

    Syafiqah is passionate about using her legal skills to make a positive impact on the lives of others and to contribute to the betterment of her community and society.

Mohammad Rizuan

  • Rizuan is the Managing Director of Emerald Law LLC, a full service firm he founded. Rizuan has a special interest and focus on the Muslim Law Practice. He graduated from the University of Manchester with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons). Rizuan actively contributes as a volunteer speaker giving talks on Islamic Inheritance Law and Lasting Power of Attorney. He also assists at the Legal Clinic at Jamiyah.

Danial Hakim

  • Danial graduated from NUS Law in 2016 and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2017. In his early role within the legal industry, he worked on commercial litigation and international arbitration matters at a private law firm. Currently, he is a policymaker in the public sector, driving Whole-of-Government policy development and strategy on socio-economic issues.

    Outside of work, Danial is active in the community, leading initiatives on youth empowerment, mentorship, legal aid and awareness, as well as other ground-up projects across Singapore. He is also a Board Member of Yayasan MENDAKI and Orkestra Melayu Singapura. He is currently the President of MENDAKI Club, which runs mentorship and development programmes for youths, overseeing over 350 volunteers and impacting around 3000 beneficiaries yearly.

    In 2018, Danial was honoured by ZICO Advisory as one of ASEAN's 40 Under 40, which recognised trailblazers who have impacted their communities. Recently, in 2022, he was also honoured by the National Council of Social Services (NCSS) as one of NCSS’ 40 Under 40, which recognised young, promising social service sector leaders for their contributions to Singapore.

  • Muslim Albakri is the Founder and Managing Director of ALBAKRI LLC. Prior to establishing ALBAKRI LLC, Muslim spent several years honing his litigation practice in a local Big-4 firm before moving to a boutique disputes practice.

    Muslim’s main areas of practice include commercial and criminal litigation, financial crime and investigations, and corporate advisory work. Besides that, Muslim is a long-time volunteer with the Law Society of Singapore Pro Bono Services and Justice Without Borders where he provides legal advice, education and representation in the areas of criminal defence and migrant worker employment.

Ezra Bunyamin

  • Ezra is the Managing Director of Deansgate Barakah Law Corporation. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)(Hons) from the University of Manchester in 2015. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Social Psychology and Counselling (Grad.DipPsy) with an overall distinction and a Professional Diploma in Applied Psychology from the National University of Singapore (NUS)(ext). In 2019, Ezra also attended at the Singapore Polytechnic for a Specialist Diploma in Applied Drama and Psychology and has since obtained a certificate of completion for the first semester.

    Ezra is also teaching as an Associate faculty (Public Safety and Security programme) at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) with a focus in Singapore Legal System (PSS101) and Criminological Theories & Intervention (CRM305).

Nazmi Bakar

  • Nazmi graduated from the Diploma in Legal Studies in 2000 from Temasek Polytechnic. He started his paralegal profession sometime in 2003 and has been a paralegal since then. Nazmi is currently a paralegal and Office Manager in Central Chambers Law Corporation. He is assisting the firm in drafting and filing of correspondences and court papers, managing files, liaising and arranging meeting with clients and organising office related events.

    Nazmi is currently in the civil litigation team and actively assists the lawyers in the firm in matters on probate, divorce, family law matters, construction, debt recovery and other civil litigation matters. He is also assisting in procurement matters with statutory boards.

    Besides working in a law firm, Nazmi is also an active member of the Parent Support Group (“PSG”) in Bendemeer Primary School and in the PSG South Zone Network. He is currently holding the position of Vice-Chairman and has assisted in many events in the school.

Taikhoom Khairullah

  • Taikhoom graduated from NUS Law in 2019 and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2020. He started his legal career with the Complex Commercial Disputes Team of K&L Gates Straits Law.

    Taikhoom then embarked on a career in public service, where he was involved in administration and regulatory work. His current portfolio involves formulating policies and driving growth.

    Outside of work, Taikhoom is passionate about wildlife and the environment, and is often involved in overseas volunteer work relating to conservation.

Zamiq Azmeer

  • Zamiq is currently a Commercial Counsel in charge of all legal matters in the Asia-Pacific region at Energy Exemplar, a Multi-National Corporation. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)(Hon.) from the National University of Singapore in 2018.

    As Commercial Counsel, Zamiq is regularly involved in drafting and reviewing contractual matters, negotiating with legal representatives from private companies, publicly listed companies, as well as statutory/government authorities from various jurisdictions. Prior to this, he was a Legal Associate at a boutique law firm in Singapore dealing in diverse matters with a primary focus on corporate advisory work and general litigation at all levels of courts.

    Zamiq is a Graduate Mentor in 2024 for the first official run of the SMU’s Yong Pung How School of Law’s course called “LAW4063 Advanced Legal Writing: Student Publishing Initiative”.

    Muzhaffar specialises in civil fraud, asset recovery, and regulatory and internal investigations, having acted in numerous matters of global and national interest.
